Mike Musgrove - Drums
Mike has been playing the drums for numerous years, playing as the house band drummer at Nashville North for twelve years. Opening from every major country star under the sun - from Willie Nelson to Loretta Lynn. More information on Mike will be coming your way. Mike lives in Springfield, Illinois with his wife, Heather, and a son, Skyler.
John Hand - Keys/Vocals
Music has always been integral to John's life. He began piano lessons at seven with Gigi Darr, an accomplished classical pianist who held a degree in piano performance. John studied with her for eight years, gaining significant knowledge in music theory. Upon entering Alton High School, he discovered a new passion: the drums. He was part of the Marching 100 and performed with the Symphonic Band for four years. After high school, John pursued further music education at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, playing in both the Wind Symphony and the Percussion Ensemble for three years. His final performance with the Wind Symphony took place at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Additionally, he took private lessons for two years with Jerry Bolen, a respected percussionist in the St. Louis area. John's beliefs reflect two memorable quotes from films: "That's some mighty fine picking and a singing!" (O Brother Where Art Thou?) and "Get busy living or get busy dying" (The Shawshank Redemption). After completing four years of college, John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Business. He currently works at Halpin Music in Alton, Illinois, and is happily married to Melissa, raising their two adorable sons, Kellan and Luca!
Lori Franke - Lead Vocals
Lori Franke is not your typical grassroots country singer. Growing up in Calhoun County, Illinois, she dedicated a significant part of her life to singing and has been performing for large audiences since the age of 18. Her career took off with her debut album, “Sometimes,” released in November 2004 under MW Production/Records, which quickly gained local popularity due to songs like “Baby Wake Up” and “If Love Doesn’t Matter.” Thanks to the amazing support from talented songwriters and musicians, her music has resonated with many, especially on independent music platforms and Internet radio, including WIL and WSMI. She found her home in music with her band, Miles Station, which consists of five exceptionally talented musicians—and they have become her strongest support system. Currently, she also works as an education consultant and lives in Shipman, Illinois, with her husband, Scott. They have three daughters: Shay, Delani, and Korrie.
Eric Cooper - Lead Guitar/Vocals
Eric’s skill in singing and working the radio emerged before he began walking. His musical abilities can be attributed to his father and uncle, who were in a band together (The Good Ol’ Boys) during his childhood. Being surrounded by a wealth of music in his early years provided Eric with the foundation that fostered his love for music. He didn’t start playing an instrument until he was 14 -bass guitar- before picking up more as he turned 17 (six-string acoustic and electric), and even more by 21 (a bit of piano). Over the years, while working in cover bands and original bands around the St. Louis area, Eric was approached by Chris Hammann to gauge his interest in playing with Miles Station. “I could not ask to be around a better combination of personalities, musicianship, and professionalism.” The rest of the band is equally ecstatic to have him on board! Eric is a marketing guru with MJM and lives in Carlinville, Illinois, with his wife, Theresa, and their three children: Weston, Thekla, and Kennedy!
Chris Hammann - Bass/Vocals
Chris grew up in a small town in central Illinois. He began playing the bass at the age of 11. Chris comes from a very musical background; his dad played drums during the Big Band era, and his brother currently plays drums professionally. Chris has played all types of music, including rock, country, soul, and funk. After the release of her album, Sometimes, Franke searched for a skilled bass player to help lead the band, and her prayers were answered when Chris called to inquire about the position. When not engaging in his musical endeavors, Chris works as a financial planner at Investment Planners, Inc. He lives in Carlinville, Illinois, with his wife, Joan.
Jerry Price - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals
Jerry Price was born in Indianapolis, IN, and raised in Cottage Hills, IL. He started singing in the grade school choir, where he won numerous awards as a soloist. Unlike the other band members, Jerry didn’t begin performing on stage until he was 25. He got his first taste of country rock while playing in local bands such as the Fineline Band and Renegade. He joined Mason-Dixon as the lead vocalist but had already demonstrated a knack for entertaining audiences with his quick wit and deep country vocals. “My early influences were Ronnie Milsap, George Strait, Garth Brooks, and, of course, Elvis Presley.” Jerry signed up with Miles Station to add a bit of traditional country “flavour” to a rockin’ variety band whose goal is to appeal to all audiences. Jerry resides in Godfrey, Illinois, with his wife, Erica, and their three boys, Landon, Preston, and Triston.
